When you think the door is firmly locked ,

And life you in your face has socked,

And you just give way to despair

And yourself with the unluckiest person compare,

You just forget that the key is in your pocket,

And realising this is not science of rocket!

You have the key to every door,

Is there anything you want more?

To every problem you have the solution,

All that you need is a firm resolution!

You have the pass to every gate,

Why then huff and puff and wait?

Open the doors with the key of courage and will,

Why do your stand paralysed and still?

Why do you stand, the very picture of inaction

When to open closed doors you have the divine sanction?

The doors are closed just to test your wisdom and endurance,

To see how soon you snap out of your ignorance!

Do not throw up your hands in despair and be sore

As you have it in you to open every shut door!

What is gone is gone,

Always move on!

What is spent is spent,

Why repent?

What is done is done,

Why cling to it and not it shun?

What has been said has been said,

It is now done with and dead!

Your follies of the past,

Your behaviour loose and fast,

Your supercilious ways,

Your reckless days,

Your hurts and desires

Which a wanton mind sires,

Your hankering after things,

Your dreams with wings,

Your chasing of fancies idle and wild,

Your myriad reactions sharp or mild,

Your wealth, power and pelf,

Your insane love for the self,

Your idly strutting vanities,

Your treasure trove of inanities,

Your endless chasing of goals,

Your being hauled over the coals,

The flames of your lust

Going out with a burst,

All these you have to leave and move on

Because what is gone is gone,

Every day is a new day,

Every way a new way,

Every day you live anew,

So believe not a few!

Shed the baggage and move on,

Every day a new story is on!

Friendship is a relation to cherish,
It will keep you afloat and will not let you perish!
It won’t be a hyperbole to say
That it is the beacon light that shows you the way!
By keeping up of love and affection the constant flow,
It keeps your inner being aglow!
Striking a good friendship is such a laudable goal
That the very thought of it lights up your soul!
That it is the very anti-thesis of a relation fake
Is the very icing on the cake!
Friends are the guardian angels that hover over you,
They are there with you in anything and everything you do!Friendships on the crown of life are the jewel,
They are the drivers of our lives and our will to live they fuel!
In the forbidding desert of life they are the life-saving oases,
Of our vulnerable and tenuous lives they are the firm bases!
Let a million friendships thrive and bloom
To dispel of the world the darkness and the gloom!

मौन में है छुपा बहुत कुछ,

क्या, यह पूछ के तूँ बन न तुच्छ!

मौन से उपजा यह संसार,

मौन में है प्रभु की कृपा अपार!

मौन बहुत कुछ बोलता,

अनेक गाँठें है खोलता!

मौन सत्य से जोड़ता,

बहुत से भ्रम है तोड़ता!

मौन से मिलता परम ज्ञान,

मौन से ही होता है ध्यान!

मौन में छिपी परम शांति,

मौन से दूर होती हर भ्रांति!

मौन ही ब्रह्माण्ड में व्याप्त,

मौन से होती ज्ञान मणि प्राप्त!

मौन से खुलते सब रस्ते,

मौन में ईश्वर हैं बसते!

कोलाहल की ओर न जाइए,

मौन में सब कुछ पाइए!

जितना ज्ञानी, उतना मौन,

यह हमें समझाए कौन?

सच की राह पे चल और जी तूँ शान से,

फिर कौन है जो खेल पाए तेरी आन से?

सच को ही जी और झूठ का विष न पी,

झूठ के विषपान ने बहुतेरों की है जान ली!

अपने प्रभु से, अपने इष्ट से इतना बल तूँ माँग

कि असत्य के कुचक्र को तूँ सके हैं लांघ!

जब भी देख झूठ और प्रपंच का बादल गहरा,

जुटा अपनी हिम्मत और सच की पताका फहरा!

याद रख जहां झूठ के तो पाँव नहीं होते,

वहाँ सत्य के सब सदैव चरण हैं धोते!

सत्य को सब स्मरण करते, सत्य ही अजर अमर,

सत्य ही है जीतता जब असत्य से होता समर!

सत्य ही तो है सत्य में जीवन का केंद्र बिंदु,

सत्य की नौका ही तो पार कराती है भव सिंधु!

सत्य का कवच पहन निकल जब असत्य की हो काली रात,

सत्य ही है प्राण रक्षक जब लगा के असत्य बैठा हो घात!

Good relations make you flourish

Because they really enrich you and you nourish!

They are to you a godsend

When you find them at every crucial bend!

They are the true barometers of your health,

They are for you the most precious wealth!

They are the food for your soul,

They make your many scattered fragments whole!

They are the the harbingers of good luck

As they keep you above every possible muck!

They keep you afloat and do not let you drown,

They turn into a bright smile your every sulk and frown!

They stand by you every inch of the way,

They brighten your morn and light up your day!

Those who by relations lay great store,

They find for themselves opening every closed door!

Embrace such relations with gratitude and an open heart

Because all your millions can not buy them from any mart!

Only some people feel the rain

Because they are intense and not vain!

Others just get wet

Because in their old dreary ways they are set!

Life is largely about feeling,

Why then indulge in inane wheeling-dealing?

Feel like a mother feels for her child,

That will help you tone down your ways violent and wild.

Feel like you will for a close loving friend,

And let rich feelings reign in this world and trend!

Feel like a guru feels for a disciple under his wing,

And about love and empathy sing!

Feel like a lover feels for his love,

And you will be so happy, by Jove!

Feel like a dancer feels for her dance,

And while dancing goes into a trance!

Feel like a singer feels for her song,

And hardly anything in your life will go wrong!

Feel like a workman feels for his tools,

And you will stop behaving like unfeeling fools!

Feel like God feels for His creation,

And your life will be rich with fulfilment and appreciation!

थम जा कुछ पहर, खुद का एहतराम कर

अंधी दौड़ में न भाग तूँ, कुछ देर आराम कर,

थम जा कुछ पहर, खुद का एहतराम कर,

दौड़ कर जाएगा कहाँ, कुछ देर तो गौर कर,

अम्बार जो लगा रहा, यहीं जाएगा छोड़ कर,

सोच तो सही ज़रा, कुछ देर इतमीनान कर,

सकूँ से बैठेगा अगर अपने जी को बांध कर,

अमन चैन पा लेगा यहीं, इस बात पर एतबार कर!

कायनात में सब चल रहा ढंग से इक लीक पर,

तूँ भी सलीके से जी ले ज़रा इस बात से कुछ सीख कर!

कुदरत ने बांधी हैं जो हदें, उन्हें न तूँ पार कर,

ग़रूर जब टूटेगा तेरा तो खुद ही बैठ जाएगा थक हार कर!

रहम कर खुद पे, खुद के साथ इंसाफ़ कर,

अंधी दौड़ में न भाग तूँ, कुछ देर आराम कर,

थम जा कुछ पहर, खुद का एहतराम कर!

ज़िंदगी की राहों पे तूँ चला चल

ज़िंदगी की राहों पे तूँ चला चल,

बेबस हो कर तूँ हाथ न मल!

ज़िंदगी है चलने का नाम,

इसमें रुकने का क्या काम?

बढ़ आगे और जीत का परचम फहरा,

झूम तूँ और मस्ती में लहरा!

जीत तूँ ख़ुद से और खुदी को कर बुलंद,

जान ले तूँ की खुदा को भी यही है पसंद!

घुट घुट के न जी ,

बुलंद हौंसलों का जाम तूँ पी!

बेख़ौफ़ हो जी, हर ख़ौफ़ से लड़,

मरने से पहले यूँ सौ बार न मर!

ज़िंदगी है इक नेमत, इसे यूँ न गवाँ,

कौन जाने कब यह हो जाए हवा?

इक बेशक़ीमती मौक़ा है यह,

इसका तूँ एहतराम कर,

कर ख़ुद और खुदा की बंदगी,

सकूँ से जीना चाहता है गर!

गुरु बिन कौन दे ज्ञान,

गुरु बिन कैसे हो सत्य की पहचान,

गुरु बिन कौन जो पार लगाए,

और सच का है अर्थ सिखलाए,

गुरु बिन कैसे हो गति,

गुरु बिन कौन दे सके है सन्मति?

गुरु बिन नाहीं कोई ठौर,

गुरु हैं जीवन पतंग की डोर!

गुरु देत संस्कार की निधि,

गुरु बतलाते जीवन की विधि,

तिमिर का कर देते वे नाश,

चहुं ओर हो जाता प्रकाश!

गुरु हैं जैसे ठंडी छाँव,

क्यों न लगिए उनके पाँव?

अपने गुरु पे बलिहारी जाएँ,

गोविंद से जो हैं मिलाएँ!

गुरु के करते जो गुण गान,

होते यशस्वी, पाते मान,

गुरु की शरण में जो जाते,

शाश्वत सत्य की निधि वे पाते!
