Listen to what your heart says,
Candidly luminous are its ways,
It is where your God resides,
Over it all of your goodness presides,
Does it somewhere a bell ring
That of your life your heart is the well-spring?
Your mind can lead you astray
But your heart will always show you the right way,
It is what transmits love to all,
It will never let you into any moral abyss fall,
If the leaders had been led by their heart,
This world would have been spared many an ugly wart,
If love had ruled the roost,
To empathy and compassion it would have given a real boost,
That would have turned this world into a real beautiful place
And it would have been rooted in plentitude of grace!
