In a flash life is gone,
Howsoever we may begrudge it or bemoan,
All our thumbs we might fiddle,
But none has been able to solve this riddle,
Life in the pan is just a flash,
Out of this world anytime we may crash,
Leaving just a host of memories behind,
All one after another lined.
While the departed through uncharted waters wade,
Their memories too gradually fade,
Leaving behind hardly any trace.
For this reality we should ourselves brace
That nothing comes out of all our love for self and possessions,
All our greed, vanities and obsessions,
So why not stay at peace, grounded and humble
Without of discontent there being any rumble,
Why not every moment live up and cherish,
Who knows when we get stupmed out and perish?

Life is just a flash in a pan, a bubble, now is, now gone! Can we add value to this gift of life? …that is just an ephemeral stay on earth if we do not stop indulging in our vanities, foibles, self-delusions? Can we be instruments of His purpose and do what he has sent us hither for?

Very Right sir. Life can be gone anytime, anywhere. All that can be remembered is our kindness, humanity etc. so we should live that moment happily and peacefully.
