Play the game of life till the last whistle,
Do not with needless apprehensions bristle!
Do not give up till the end,
With determination for yourself fend!
Do not just cave in without any reason,
Play well in and out of season!
Let your courage say it all,
With the challenges of life play ball!
Each impediment in your way squarely face,
Do not just meekly opt out of the race!
Give all you have to the game,
Then even in losing there will be no shame!
Do not despair and do not quit,
Watch out for openings with patience and grit!
Let the game of life your character test,
Show that out of the jaws of defeat victory you can wrest!
Play with aplomb and play with grace,
Even the gods above will you love and you praise!
