Who wants to stew in his own juice,
Who wants to live life by a ruse,
Who wants in misery to wallow,
Who wants his life to be barren and fallow,
Who wants his conscience to rust,
Who wants his moral sense to go bust?
Who wants to live a life of lies
Even when the truth in their face flies?
Who wants to trudge through life with a leaden weight,
Who wants a burdened conscience to distort his gait?
Why do we then we go through all that we don’t want,
Why do we thorns in the garden of our life plant?
Is it of the all pervasive ‘ maaya’ the insidious working
Or is it that we are always our human responsibility shirking?
Is it because sense we lack
Or because life has to us on our head whack?
As we see our life away from us fly,
The answers to these questions are so hard to come by!

So we are, dear, and we must learn to take responsibility for what we do in life regardless of the workings of destiny and that of maaya that many of us believe in. Thanks for responding, dear! Stay blessed.

Well said Professor Saheb. It all depends upon us – whether we make our life heaven or hell. If we are conscious at all times that we shall reap what we sow, why would we sow thorns for ourselves?
