Life can be fun,
But then it can also make you sweat and run,
It can be quite dicey,
And act stiff-lipped and pricey,
It can turn everything upside down,
It can scowl at you and frown,
It can flatten you to the earth,
Of the blows it can deal you there is no dearth,
But then it can also treat you nicely
If you are aware and decide to live wisely,
It can you with kid gloves treat,
If you it with a loving embrace greet,
It is to different people different things,
It can keep you afloat or eclipse your wings,
It can make you or you mar,
If you with negativity try it to tar!
What you give it, life gives you back manifold,
This is a tale sages down the ages have us told!
