आईना झूठ नहीं बोलता,
हमारी बंद गिरहें खोलता,
दिखाता हमें हमारा सच,
जिससे हम नहीं सकते बच ,
आईने में खुद को देखना जानना ज़रूरी है,
क्यों भागें खुद से, ऐसी भी क्या मजबूरी है?
सच से भाग कर जाएँगे भी कहाँ,
जब लौटेंगे तो यहीं मिलेगा खड़ा,
क्यों न अभी उससे साक्षात्कार कर लें,
अभी दो दो चार कर लें,
अभी देखें ग़र उसकी आँखों में आँखें डाल,
तो शायद समझ पाएँ अपना हाल,
बेंध पाएँ स्वरचित भ्रमजाल,
जी पाएँ कुछ सार्थक घड़ियाँ,
जोड़ पाएँ रचनात्मक कड़ियाँ,
ले पाएँ सुख की साँस,
क्योंकि, माने या न मानें, असत्य है तो अंतत: गले की फाँस!
