Put Them on the Mat and Be Victorious

Our inner demons do us chase,

Well! the can they raise!

In the shadows can you find them lurking,

They make you frown and leave you sulking!

They are not our companionable fellow walkers,

They are stalkers of pesky stalkers!

Are we by their presence amused?

No, they leave us stupefied and bemused!

O Boy! It does take some courage to them confront,

To look them in the eye and face them upfront!

But this ferocious bull by the horns we need to catch,

Its diabolical strength with our valour do we need to match!

They will raise din and be distractedly uproarious,

But we have it in us to put them on the mat and be victorious!
