Stillness is all,
In stillness truth stands tall!
Stillness is a reflection of something infinitely higher,
It pulls you out of the worldly mire,
It takes you towards a deeper reality
Where all is one without any duality,
Stillness makes you your inner landscapes map,
It makes you your reservoirs of the spirit tap,
Quiet with God establishes your connect,
And helps you from the illusory world retract,
All realised souls have walked along the path of silence
Where there is no room for any ensnaring delusion or violence,
Only silence and stillness can you to your salvation lead,
Only they can make you the tea leaves of the soul read,
If you can sail through the worldly sea with stillness as your oar,
You can not possibly ask your Maker for anything more!

Well said Professor Saheb. It is so true that that the cacophony of the external world distracts us at all times and prevents any internal dialogue to happen. The silence and stillness only can lead us to the inward journey, where one becomes connected to the Almighty.
