Listen to your silence,
It knows no violence!
All the answers it knows,
To the deepest recesses of your heart it goes!
Of your consciousness it is the essence,
In your life it is a becalming presence!
Silence this creation preceded,
When all else failed, has it succeeded!
Of your being it is the core,
Of wisdom it has opened every door!
If you listen to it with honest intent,
You will find it pregnant with meaning and content!
It can open the most baffling knots,
It can join the most puzzling dots,
It is the nourishment of your soul,
Living a life of inner silence is the most worthy goal!
All the answers you seek it gives
Because it is in silence that God lives!
