In this soulless age, we need people with a soul,
That is the crux of the matter whole!
We need people with a sense of right
Whose good sense has not taken flight!
We need people with a kind and loving heart
Who are not unfeelingly up for sale in the ruthless materialistic mart!
We need people with moral mettle
Who, their core being sound, are in fine fettle!
We need people with a humanistic zeal
Who hold dear to their heart the public weal!
We need people who hold aloft of goodness the banner,
Who strengthen the cause of humanity with their decent manner!
We need people with a sensibility fine
With which we can so heartily align!
We need people with a soul,
That is the crux of the matter whole!
