साँसों का है सारा खेल,
इस खेल का है न कोई मेल!
साँसें चलतीं,सब कुछ चलता,
साँसें रुकतीं, सूरज ढलता!
साँसों का है न कोई मोल,
इन्हें न सकता कोई तोल!
इनका विधि विधान कोई न जाने,
हर कोई इनका लोहा माने!
साँसों से जुड़ी है हर आस,
साँसों से जुड़ा सब आम और ख़ास!
साँसें हैं तो सब कुछ अपना,
थम गयीं तो सब है सपना!
कब तक चलता साँसों का रेला,
है सब यह कुदरत का खेला!
साँसों की पूँजी है न्यारी,
इसी लिए है हम सब को प्यारी!
साँसों पर हम करें न्योछावर सब कुछ,
इनके आगे सब कुछ गौण और तुच्छ!
साँसों से बंधी है चाहे जीवन डोर,
इन पर न चलता किसी का ज़ोर!
महामारी ने भी यही है सिखाया,
साँसों का पता न किसी ने पाया!
जब तक चलतीं मनाओ ख़ैर,
काहू की रंजिश, काहू का वैर!
