Drench others in colours of love,
Be in this world of hawks a dove.
The colours of empathy are the best,
Of our humanity they are a litmus test.
The colours of compassion have no peer,
They make us see others as fellows dear.
The colours of oneness are the need of the hour ,
They can bring peace to every nook and bower.
Let this Holi fire burn away all evil,
Let it make us more humane and civil.
Let this festival wipe away every anguished tear,
Let it bring our way happy vibes, goodwill and cheer!
Happy Holi to you all! Let us internalise the true spirit of this festival to leave this world a better place than we found it. Stay blessed.
