Love Encompasses All

Hug the tree of love with all your heart,

It is the only saviour in this soulless mart.

Hold  it and do not let go,

To the world the beacon of love show.

Let your love others’ wounds heal,

Can there be any better deal? 

Love those suffocated by hate,

To the forces of good lend weight.

It is not only your sacred duty

But also of this life the beauty

That love encompasses all,

It knows no barrier, no wall.

Love showers blessings, it showers grace,

In it there is of malice no trace. 

Of compassion the bugle blow,

Let the milk of kindness flow.

Give all ugly divisions a wide berth,

Don’t let them nettle you;  prove your human worth

So that in the Court of God you stand tall,

A decent soul without bile or gall!
