How it tells its joyous and vibrant story!

How it makes the whole earth come alive

How a thousand dreams does it launch and drive

How every blooming flower becomes a ray of hope

How it exhorts you not to brood or mope

How nature on its vast canvas paints myriad colours so bright

That dispel from the heart every darkness and fright!

Look at this season spreading its ever so luminous wings

How it uplifts you and ever soaring hopes in it rings!

With so much undiluted happiness does it us load

That we can not but see it as unmixed blessing of God!
