You Live Only When—

You live only

When you live a life of passion

When you cast things in your own fashion

When you live with intensity

And that intensity becomes your propensity

You live only

When you have a mind of your own

When all your dithering and self-doubts are gone

When you have clarity of vision

And to realise that vision becomes your mission

You live only

When you are spurred on by lofty dreams

And you are moved by rich themes

When you are determined to build a better world

And to that end your lions up you gird

You live only

When you make positivity your touchstone

When you refuse to grumble, groan and moan

When you always see at the end of the tunnel the light

And for everything good and bright you doggedly fight

You live only

When of every passing moment you are aware

When in the moment you live and by it you swear

When mindful living becomes your constant refrain

And towards that goal your mind you assiduously train

You live only

When you are honest and loving to the core

When of life you ask nothing more

When you become a beacon of glowing light

And paint the world in colours vibrant and bright!
