Give peace a chance,
To peaceable tunes dance,
Wear kindness on your sleeve,
The footprints of love everywhere leave,
While with boundless love you keep a date,
Say an emphatic no to fear and hate,
Wherever you go, sow seeds of generosity,
Say a firm no to all acts of animosity,
Of fellow-feeling the bugle blow,
Let compassion out of your being flow,
Create beauty everywhere any how,
Never before ugliness you head bow,
Let enlightened acceptance be your anchor,
That is the way to steer clear of all rancour,
Be the pole star to every rudderless bark,
Be a benign spirit and sing like a lark!
