Look at the Glory of the Moon

Look at the glory of the moon,

Fit to make you swoon!

See it caress the floating clouds,

How nature its mystery in splendour shrouds!

See it peep from behind those tufts of cotton,

With its serene joy it seems so sodden!

While it leisurely surveys the dwellings and the quiet road below,

It casts its magic far and wide though slow!

While with the reflected glory of the Orb it is drunk ,

The sprawling world below in sleep is sunk!
