Perhaps You Will My Memory Toast

Whenever a challenge comes, throw your hat in the ring,
Don’t give up and let your spirit be on a wing!
Don’t let anything lay you low,
Why shouldn’t you have a spirit gung-ho?
It is important to keep your morale high
It is so important to have a spirit never-say-die!
While you are here, why not live it up?
Why not drink the cup of life to the full?
Why should you let dejection pull you down into the mire?
Why shouldn’t you let the stars up there your imagination fire?
Why should you in your short but precious life journey mope?
What is left if you give up hope?
Why not for the moon aspire?
Why not you for scaling higher and higher mountains aspire?
Why shouldn’t you ride out every wave that hits you like a wall?
Why shouldn’t you gather your wits and get up and running after every bruising fall?
Do get up and running hit the ground,
I can not proffer you an advice which is more sound!
Someday you might remember me for giving you a push when you needed it the most,
Then I might not be around but perhaps you will my my memory toast!
